Sexual Harassment Prevention Training in California - Are You Ready?

This year California employers with at least five employees must provide sexual harassment prevention training and education to all supervisory employees and non-supervisory employees in California. The deadline to complete this requirement is January 1, 2020.


Training should be at least two hours long for all supervisory employees, and at least one hour long for all non-supervisory employees. Sessions must be provided once every two years.


New employee have to receive the training within six months of their start date or transition to the supervisory role.
